FSC Certification Our own FSC certified forest - FLEXA maintains it own pine forest in the Russian province of Karelia. Here, the cold climate makes the trees grow slowly, which gives it a strong and very dense fiber structure. Owning our own forest means knowing that we always have access to the best timber. Our forest is FSC certified, which means, that we plant new trees whenever we cut down existing ones. We also care about the natural life and rhythm of wildlife and plants that our forest is home to. FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests.
